Our mission is to provide a deeper Pilates experience, providing that extra level of care, expertise and support to help you achieve your personal health and wellness goals.

Our vision is to grow and support a community of like-minded people who seek to better themselves and nurture their mind, body and soul.

Our Story             

Ever since Michelle Koton and Peta Green met at their Pilates training in 2000, they have shared a passion for the benefits that authentic Pilates brings to the mind, body and soul.

In 2019, the dynamic duo’s dream of creating a shared space together turned into reality, and MPower was born.

Michelle, Peta and their team of dedicated instructors at the Bondi Beach studio fostered a community of like-minded individuals of all ages, sizes and experience levels who came together for the love of authentic Pilates.

In 2022, MPower further evolved, moving from its previous Bondi Beach location to a new space at Bondi Junction. This move represented the next chapter in the MPower journey - a transition to a more intimate, personalised pilates experience aligning with the core values of MPower.

AIMEE HERSHAN| Instructor

Originally from London, Amiee’s love for dance started at the age of two. Growing up she attended classes with some of the country’s leading teachers. After graduating from the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, Amiee somehow fell into a job working in the fashion industry where she worked with the likes of Chanel, Fendi, and Moschino.

A sudden move down under, Amiee found Barre Body… and the rest is history. She gave up her career in fashion to focus on her love of movement. Amiee has completed her teaching diploma with Pilates International and has gained a qualification in teaching Progressive Ballet Technique.

She Loves to teach technical classes with lots of added fun and terrible jokes.

GRACE GOWDIE | Instructor

Grace has practiced Pilates for over 8 years and fell in love with the way it made her look and feel.


She is on a mission to help other people feel amazing in their bodies by improving their strength, flexibility and toning their muscles. Pilates is a way of life for Grace. She studied Studio and Rehab training through Polestar Pilates, giving her the knowledge she needs to help others.

Grace is an energetic, vibrant, and thoughtful teacher. In Grace’s spare time, you can find her working on her natural skincare business, Dermatec Skincare, or working as a commercial model.

JANET LAPPRATHANA | Instructor

Janet comes to Sydney from her home in Bangkok. After completing her comprehensive Pilates training and gaining experience in both Thailand and New York, (awarded the Elite Pilates Instructor Award 2017), Janet is currently also studying for a degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Sydney.

Janet gets the greatest sense of enjoyment as a Pilates Instructor, in being part of her client’s fitness journey. She is completely invested in communicating the real wisdom of the Pilates technique to help her clients transform their physical and mental health.

With her experience and her studies, Janet is able to instruct both groups and private sessions. She enjoys helping a wide range of clients… from fitness enthusiasts to pre-natal women to those who need rehabilitation and modified programs.

ADAM BECKER | Instructor

Adam is a certified Pilates Instructor working with endurance athletes and everyday sportsmen & women. He helps people realise and achieve their movement potential.

Being ‘Life fit’ is the key passion to Adam’s style of training. The ability to move effortlessly is something everyone should be able to do. Whether it's a workout or workshop, you'll feel stronger and more connected, ready for the rest of your day.

ROBYN GOLDIN | Instructor

Since she was a little girl, Robyn has always loved moving and dancing. She was a devoted ballet dancer and qualified as a Cecchetti Ballet Teacher. After teaching ballet for 10 years, Robyn embarked on the journey of motherhood and is the very proud mother of 3 sporty and busy boys.

Pilates captured Robyn’s attention as she was recovering from a shoulder injury. It wasn’t long before Robyn trained with Polestar in Mat, Reformer and Studio Pilates. Always wanting to know more and develop her skills further, Robyn also acquired her Diploma with PITC.

Robyn excels at teaching clients how they can get the most out of every part of their body through meaningful movement. She is particularly dedicated to supporting women to reach their full potential, no matter what level they are at.

In 2021, Robyn co-founded The Mat App, where women are encouraged to reconnect to their body, whether they are pre or post-natal, or if they are experiencing prolapse or incontinence. Robyn believes that a holistic approach to women’s health is necessary and she loves being part of her client's journey to move with freedom.

PETA GREEN | P of MPower

Peta trained as a ballet dancer at the National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne. She joined the Sydney Dance Company after falling in love with contemporary dance and worked as a dancer with the Australian Opera Company for many years. After embarking on intensive training in the Pilates method in Sydney with Cynthia Lochard, she was inspired to go to New York to study at the original studio where Joseph Pilates taught. After finishing the course, she continued her Pilates journey in NYC and taught at the famous re: AB studio with Brooke Siler, teaching people the likes of models Stella Tenant, Katie Ford and ballerina, Suzanne Farrell.

When Peta is not teaching, she is usually running, skiing, paddling, cross-training, or doing different forms of Yoga practice.

With life being so busy and stressful these days, Peta likes to mix her sessions with Yoga, Pilates, and functional exercises so her clients get total body workouts.

MICHELLE KOTON | M of MPower

Michelle has always loved moving! Even though her career in Marketing was always stimulating and interesting, it was when she discovered Pilates in 1997, that all her passions came together. In 2000, Michelle completed her Classical Pilates Training under the banner of Romanas Pilates and since then, has traveled the world completing many workshops, seminars, and conferences, never ceasing to learn more and more about the magical world of the body and movement.

Michelle has founded and developed her own studios in Sydney for the past 19 years, and at the age of 56, feels more empowered and stronger than ever!

DELENE JENKINS | Instructor

Delene started dance at the young age of 3 in her hometown, Sydney. She received her dance teaching diplomas through B.A.L at 16 and started teaching classical dance, jazz, and tap to children of all ages. She traveled around the world dancing & performing all of her life. She settled down in Paris to perform at the Moulin Rouge, where she spent 18 years of her career-high kicking and step touching until last year when she decided to hang up the glamorous feathers & sequins. After almost 20 years of living the Parisian lifestyle, she has come home with her little French family, to embark on new and exciting adventures.

Delene’s passion for dance and exercise led her to pursue a career in Pilates. Delene is a fully certified Balanced Body Pilates instructor in Mat and all machines. She studied and trained at A-Lyne Studio Paris and continued on with her instructor qualifications. Delene is also a certified Gyrotonic instructor.

She’s constantly inspired by her client’s strength, confidence, and happiness that they bring to every class. Delene looks forward to seeing you in the studio and promises to help you achieve your ideal health and fitness goals!
