Frequently asked questions.

1 - If I am new to Pilates what is the best way to start?

We recommend you start your journey without 2 pack intro. This includes 2 x 45-minute private sessions, designed to introduce you to some of the Pilates principles and to the equipment we use in our group classes. You can pay for this via our pricing page, but to book in, please email info@mpowerpilates.com.au

2 - Do you have a trial offer for group classes?

Yes. We offer a 10 day trial for $100 for first-time clients in the studio  (see pricing tab).

3 - How many people do you have in your classes?

We have a maximum of eight clients in our reformer classes, seven in our chair and tower classes, and nine in our mat classes. 

4 - Must I bring socks to class?

Yes, socks are compulsory for all work in straps. We sell grip socks at the studio if you need them. 

5 - What classes do you offer if I am recovering from an injury?

We have our resident Pilates instructor who is also a qualified physiotherapist. You can book a private session with Lara by emailing us at info@mpowerpilates.com.au  or you can join our Physio Pilates group class. Lara will guide you with any modifications required. 

6 - Do you offer prenatal classes?

We do not have prenatal classes per se, but all of our instructors are qualified to modify according to your body. Try our physio Pilates classes as well as reformer one classes and cheque to our instructors when you are in the studio.

7 - Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. visit our shop on the website and make your selection 

8 - Do you offer private sessions?

Yes. We have three fully equipped private rooms in the studio and feel this is where our years of experience truly have value. Email us to book a session 

9 - Do you offer the Gyrotonic method at the studio?

We are one of very few certified and approved studios offering private sessions in the Gyrotonic method. Delene is our certified instructor. Email us to book an appointment 

10 - What happens if I go away and want to put my membership on hold?

Please email your request to info@mpowerpilates.com.au.  You may put your membership on hold for two weeks during your membership term. 

11 - What is your cancellation policy in classes?

If you cannot attend a class you have booked you must cancel within a 12 hour notice period. If not, you will be charged a late cancel fee of $30 for memberships and will lose your class if you have a  studio pack.
